This vintage tribal Bokhara Mori rug is hand-knotted in Pakistan with an all-wool pile on a cotton foundation. There is fading/discoloration in the middle of the rug and some very minor wear on the pile, see photos, this rug is in very good condition.

Bokhara rugs have small, repeating geometric designs and are woven with very fine wool. The most common Bokhara design consists of rows of “Tekke” guls or medallions (the Tekkes were one of the Turkmen tribes). Bokhara rugs are made in Pakistan, Turkey, Uzbekistan, and Afghanistan.
